Lockport emergency room robber in trouble again

Ten days after being placed on probation for the May 2016 gunpoint robbery of the Eastern Niagara Hospital emergency room, Adam D. Kibler was back in court Thursday, accused of violating the terms of probation.

Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III had warned Kibler Oct. 23 that one mistake could land him in state prison for as long as seven years.

Kibler, 25, of LeVan Avenue, Lockport, was accused Monday of having hypodermic needles loaded with a clear liquid, trying to arrange a drug purchase by text message, and using someone else's urine to try to beat a drug test.

Murphy was off Thursday, but State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski remanded Kibler to jail to await Murphy's judgment Nov. 28.
