Hamburg black belts to perform at Canadian HOF event

Fifth-degree black belts Jonathan Ertel and William Lorenz Jr. of Hamburg have been selected to provide a demonstration following Saturday's Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Hilton Lac-Leamy Hotel and Casino in Gatineau, Quebec.

Ertel and Lorenz are trained primarily in Isshin-Ryu Karate under Shihan Bill Adams. They have performed demonstrations together on numerous occasions, including at Coca-Cola Field following a Bisons game in May of 2015.

The "Kobudomania" follows the inductions at which Bob Wall will serve as grand master. Wall engaged the legendary Bruce Lee in a famous fight scene in the movie "Enter The Dragon."

Ertel and Lorenz are members of the Defensive Arts Dojo, owned by Kyoshi Michael Downs.
