Social media is at the center of another criminal case involving an underage victim.
Anthony Weber, 35, of Grand Island, is charged with enticement of a minor and accused of using Facebook to seek a sexual relationship with the 15-year old girl.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Cantil said the girl began communicating with the defendant after she responded to an employment ad.
Weber, according to court papers, offered alcohol, marijuana, and crack cocaine to the high school student and at one point said he wanted to "try u or 1 of ur friends."
When Weber was arrested last month by the FBI and City of Tonawanda police, who set up a meeting with what Weber thought would be the girl, authorities said his minor son was in the car's back seat.
