ALL IN THE FAMILY – Saturday is Polish Ancestry Day in the Resurrection Mausoleum at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 700 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd., Cheektowaga.
Family researchers will assist in Polish genealogy beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Polish Genealogical Society of New York State will guide people looking for family records. Cemetery researcher Barbara Noreck Ruppert, who has photographed 70,000 gravesites at the cemetery and created a searchable database, also will be available.
Memorial candles will be on sale at 3 p.m. Families with children under 14 will receive a free candle to light on the grave of a loved one. Prayers for All Souls and Mass will be offered at 4 p.m., followed by lighting of candles at the graves.

NICE ICE – The Amherst Skating Club will hold its inaugural ASC Club Day to introduce ice skaters to club skating from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Northtown Center, 1615 Amherst Manor Drive off Millersport Highway, Amherst. TEA TIME – The Variety Women of Buffalo will host Holiday Tea in the Country from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in Kloc’s Grove, 1245 Seneca Creek Road, West Seneca. There will be a basket raffle and a teapot tree. Donation is $28. Proceeds benefit Women and Children’s Hospital and local children’s charities. ALL MEAT – St. Mother Teresa Parish will host its 14th annual Holiday Meat Raffle on Friday in St. James Church Hall, 500 Terrace Blvd., Depew. Doors open at 6 p.m. First draw is at 7. Admission is $7, or $5 with donation of a grocery bag of non-perishable food, and includes a hot roast beef or turkey sandwich, beer, pop and snacks.

The Knights of Equity and the Daughters of Erin will hold a Fall Meat Raffle on Saturday in the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road. Doors open at 6. Raffle starts at 7. Admission is $6 and includes pizza, beer, pop and dessert. For more info, call Stacie Sommers at 812-0537.
