USA men's junior team announces games in Jamestown, Erie

Team USA will play tune-up games in Jamestown and Erie, Pa., as the team prepares for the IIHF Men's World Junior Championship in Buffalo.

The United States, looking for back-to-back gold medals in the event for the first time ever, begins with training camp at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio from Dec. 15-19.

Tickets are on sale for the U.S. pre-tournament game at 7 p.m., Dec. 20 against Belarus in the Northwest Arena in Jamestown. The Americans will then face Sweden at 7 p.m., Dec. 22, in Erie Insurance Arena, in Erie, Pa. Tickets for that game will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Nov. 6.

The preliminary roster for the 2018 U.S. National Junior Team will be released in early December.
