Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley could reportedly miss Thursday night's game against the Bills due to suspension.
The New York Daily News broke the suspension news Tuesday morning but didn't say why. The New York Post reported later that the suspension was for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy. ESPN reported that Kerley was on the field for practice Tuesday afternoon.
Kerley is the team's thrid receiver behind Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson but has played more than 50 percent of the offensive snaps in every game this season. He is also their punt returner.
Kerley ranks third on the team with 217 receiving yards on 22 receptions and has one touchdown. His absence could open an opportunities for ArDarius Stewart and Chad Hansen.
