Musiq Soulchild brings hip-hop/soul fusion to Shea's

Platinum R&B/soul/hip-hop singer and songwriter Musiq Soulchild - Taalib Johnson to his mom - will headline an uber-hip urban music revival at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 in Shea's Performing Arts Center. He'll be joined by English soul singer (and former member of neo-soul duo Floetry) Marsha Ambrosius and Missy Elliott protege Jazmine Sullivan. There's been a paucity of must-see contemporary R&B shows in the area of late, so this gig beckons like a bright light. And, with tickets starting at $49, the price is right.
