The Buffalo Bills' secondary is hurting.
Safety Jordan Poyer is inactive for the team Sunday against the Oakland Raiders after being listed as questionable coming into the game. Poyer did not practice all week after suffering a knee injury on the last play of the game in Week Seven against Tampa Bay.
Additionally, cornerback E.J. Gaines is out with a hamstring injury suffered against the Bucs. Shareece Wright will start in his place, while Trae Elston will replace Poyer. The Bills' only other safety is Shamarko Thomas.
Also inactive for the Bills on Sunday are: Right guard John Miller, linebacker Ramon Humber (thumb), tight end Charles Clay (knee) and offensive tackles Conor McDermott and Seantrel Henderson. Vlad Ducasse will make his third straight start at right guard, while Nick O'Leary starts in place of Clay and rookie Matt Milano starts for the third straight game in place of Humber.
