An Amherst man was facing multiple charges Monday night after he allegedly crashed his pickup truck into a concrete bench at Clinton Park in the City of Tonawanda and then hid behind a dumpster several block away, City of Tonawanda police said.

The driver was identified as Sergey Busko, 33, of E. RobinsonRoad.

Police said he crashed his 2015 GMC pick up inside the park and the vehicle got stuck on a park bench. He was later found hiding behind a dumpster at a Cash for Cans store on Broad Street. Police said he failed all field tests for driving while intoxicated and a breath test showed his blood alcohol content was .18 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, imprudent speed and driving on a parkway.
