MOVE ‘EM OUT – Niagara County residents can recycle unwanted electronic items from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Modern Corp. headquarters at 4746 Model City Road, Lewiston, courtesy of the Niagara County Refuse District, Sunnking Inc., Modern and the Town of Lewiston.
Accepted will be computers, printers, TV sets and small appliances. Unacceptable items include batteries, gas-powered equipment and devices containing freon.

HELPING HANDS – Bazil Anandaraj was just 8 years old when he held his first event to provide assistance for schoolchildren in Sri Lanka and India affected by the tsumani in 2004. Since then he has helped 2,300 youngsters.
His eighth annual Bazil’s Kids Helping Kids dinner, featuring cuisine from several different cultures, takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday in Knox Church Hall, 2595 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore.
Tickets are $10, $5 for children, kids 3 and under free. There also will be entertainment, dancing, games and raffles. Call 381-9149.
