Big-Play Breakdown: Bucs' seam route to Mike Evans
Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston is good at throwing down the seams to the intermediate and deep parts of the field. He likes to throw to the inside receiver. He has complete faith in star receiver Mike Evans. Sometimes Winston forces it to Evans when he shouldn't.
This was a red-zone interception against Minnesota in Week Three. Winston (3) had a good matchup with the 6-foot-3 Evans (13) on a 6-foot linebacker. But the QB never looked off No. 13. Both safeties converged on what wound up being triple coverage and Harrison Smith (22) caught a deflection for an interception. The Bills' safeties will have to be on their toes vs. Winston.
