Former Bills defensive tackle John McCargo was reportedly arrested in his home state of Virginia last week on gun and drug charges.
McCargo was the Bills' first-round pick in 2006 but made only one start in five years with the team.
The Southside Messenger, a local paper in Virginia, reported that McCargo was charged with possession of a gun while in possession of a Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 drug after an incident earlier this month, which is a Class 6 felony in the state.
The paper added that McCargo is also wanted in California. He reportedly failed to show for a hearing after being charged with inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, former spouse and/or cohabitant, which also violated his probation.
McCargo last appeared in the NFL in 2011, playing four games for the Buccaneers.
