TELESCO, Thomas Joseph Sr.
TELESCO - Thomas Joseph Sr. Friends and family, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at approximately 8 PM, our beloved father, husband and grandfather, Thomas Joseph Telesco Sr., passed away peacefully at his home in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. He was in the company of his wife, son and daughter at the time of his passing. Thomas was 65 years of age and diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer earlier this year. He fought bravely and with dignity for his life and for his family for 6 difficult months before surrendering to his rest. Thomas was the beautiful and talented son of Genevieve and Dominic Telesco, both Buffalo, NY natives, neither surviving their only son, and the son-in-law of Mariano and Geraldine Saia, also from Buffalo, NY. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Lyn Marie Saia Telesco whom he loved for over 43 years, his two daughters Gia Telesco and Christina Gunther (Telesco), his son-in-law Nicolas Gunther, his son Thomas Joseph Telesco Jr. (whom he objected to being named Eric Michael) and his grandchildren, Michael Thomas Telesco and Maximillian Dominic Telesco. Also surviving him are his loving brothers-in-law Fred Saia and Tom Saia of Buffalo, NY. Thomas enjoyed a special life always surrounded by loving friends and family as well as a love and a great talent for music, especially the electric guitar, many of which he proudly had on display in his office. His artistic talent and willingness to help anyone who needed it helped drive his architectural design business and success in Miami's hospitality industry; he would give his time and talent to anyone who needed it. He will be terribly missed today and every day for the rest of our lives. May God bless him and bring him tight into His arms now and until we can be together again. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Rose of Lima Church, 415 NE 105th St., Miami Shores, Saturday, October 21st at 1:30 PM with a reception for the family and close friends immediately following. Further details will be released under separate cover. If Tom touched your life in a special or funny way, please reply with your stories as we may not know them all! Much love - we look forward to hearing from all who are willing to share their stories with us! Thank you very much! The Telesco's
