Siobhan Hanley and Hendrik Kits van Heyningen were married at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2017, in St. Louis Church, Buffalo, where Monsignor David Lee heard their vows. Guests gathered for a reception at The Buffalo Club. The bride, daughter of Patrick M. and Sharon K. Hanley of Buffalo, is a graduate of Nichols School. She earned a classics degree from Yale University and is attending the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. The bridegroom, son of Martin A. and Kathleen K. Kits van Heyningen of Newport, R.I., is a graduate of St. George’s School. He earned a math and physics degree from Yale University and works as chief technology officer at Pilytix LLC. After a trip to Quebec City, the couple will make their home in Chicago.
