Lindsey N. Kessel and Louis J. Muscato were married at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2017, in Karpeles Manuscript Museum, Buffalo, in a ceremony officiated by Andrew Shanahan, brother of the bride. Guests gathered for a reception in the Greenhouse Room of the Hotel Lafayette in Buffalo. The bride, daughter of James K. Kessel of North Tonawanda and LuAnn Shanahan of Tonawanda and stepdaughter of Michael F. Shanahan of Tonawanda and Sherrie Kessel of North Tonawanda, is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from SUNY Buffalo State and works as an underwriting assistant at Erie & Niagara Insurance. The bridegroom, son of Louis T. Muscato of Buffalo and Diana S. Battaglia of Tonawanda and stepson of Joseph Battalglia of Tonawanda, is a graduate of Kenmore East High School. He earned an associate degree in surgical technology from Niagara County Community College and works as a surgical technician at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. After a trip to Toronto, the couple will make their home in Tonawanda.
