A man was robbed of $270 at gunpoint after leaving a Bank of America branch at East Delavan and Bailey avenues Friday, Northeast District police reported.
The victim said two men, one armed with a handgun, accosted him and made him lie on the ground. They forced him to surrender his iPhone 7 and a wallet containing the cash and a Citizens Bank card.
The robbers forced the victim to reveal his personal identification number by telling him that they knew where he lived. Later, they withdrew $1,000 from the victim's account, police said.
