Letter: Kneeling is dividing our country further

Kneeling is dividing our country further

I would like to know when this kneeling is going to end. The kneelers say it’s not against our flag. We have men and women overseas, soldiers at home, veterans who made the USA free, yet when the national anthem is playing, down the kneelers go.

We have parents, brothers and sisters who lost their sons and daughters to war and can’t even imagine how they feel. This kneeling has to stop.

It also has Americans mad at each other. It’s supposed to be “united we stand, divided we fall.” If players want to be noticed, they should wear a ribbon like other organizations, or a patch on their uniforms.

Now the high school kids are doing this. Make our soldiers and veterans proud again for fighting for our freedom.
