Tifft Nature Preserve, once a dumpsite for city refuse, has become a Buffalo gem. With its ponds, marshes and woodlands nestled between the I-190 and South Buffalo's industrial area, it is teaming with wildlife. The bird life in particular is impressive and attracts birders from all over to catch a view or a photograph of various species. Walking along its nearly 5 miles of trails reveals a plentiful supply of wildlife activity.
