STOP AND SHOP – St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 1168 Seneca St., will hold its annual Fall Bazaar from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, including a basket raffle, a bake sale and a country store. Roast beef, chili, chicken chowder and nachos will be available from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

DESIGN FOR LIVING – A five-week series of programs on Living With Diabetes will be offered at the Rural Outreach Center, 730 Olean Road, East Aurora, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Leading the sessions will be Don Birdd, a retired SUNY Buffalo State science professor who has lived with diabetes for more than 20 years.
Sessions will cover medications, what to eat, exercise and how to maintain good health. Family members also are welcome. To register, call Ruthie Hunt at 220-4834.

SENDING SMILES – 42 North Brewing Co., 25 Pine St., East Aurora, will host a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday to support the annual Guatemala Mission dental trips led by East Aurora dentist Dr. Ray Niceforo and his wife, Marsha.
Proceeds will help provide much-needed dental equipment for the Carmelite Missionary Sisters of St. Teresa in Patzun, Guatemala. The mission was started more than 25 years ago by a retired East Aurora dentist, Dr. Donald Hayes.

OLDEN DAYS – JoAnn Schaaf, past president of the Elma Historical Society and former general manager and coordinator of the Elma Town Museum, will present a talk on Eleazer Bancroft, an early Elma settler who built the first sawmill in Elma Village and established the Elma Chair Factory, at 7 p.m. Monday in the Elma Senior Citizen Center, 3007 Bowen Road. Admission is free. All are welcome.
