Buffalo police want you to have 'Coffee with a Cop'

Buffalo police are participating in "Coffee with a Cop" day today,  a national law enforcement program that aims to bring law enforcement and the community together over coffee, Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown's office said.

Police district chiefs are scheduled to appear at Tim Hortons coffee shops and other locations throughout Buffalo this morning.

Here is the schedule:

6 to 8 a.m. – Tim Hortons, Delaware and Linden avenues

10 to 11 a.m. – Tim Hortons at Delaware and Allen Street, Schiller Park Community Center, 2057 Genesee Street, Tim Hortons at Kensington Ave. and Eggert Road and Martha Mitchell Community Center, 175 Oakmont Ave.

10 a.m. to noon – D-District Police Station, 669 Hertel Ave.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Tim Hortons inside Tops Market, 1989 Seneca St.
