[BN] Blitz newsletter: Bills add reinforcements after injuries

With receiver Jordan Matthews, linebacker Ramon Humber and safety Colt Anderson all injured in the Bills' Week Four win, some reinforcements were needed.

The Bills on Tuesday brought back receiver Philly Brown and safety Trae Elston, both of whom were with the team during training camp, and added safety Shamarko Thomas as well. Anderson (arm) was placed on injured reserve while safety Robert Blanton and defensive end Eric Lee were released to make room.

The spin: Brown may not be a game-changing addition, but Tyrod Taylor's connection with tight end Charles Clay should keep the Bills' passing game afloat, Vic Carucci wrote.

Playoff odds: At 3-1, the Bills are – whoa, more than 50 percent likely to make the playoffs? What? That's according to this site.
