Jamestown man charged with raping minor

A Jamestown man was arraigned Monday on charges that he raped a child in August in the Bemus Point area, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office said.

Timothy J. Perrin, 28, was charged with two counts of rape and with criminal sex act, all felonies, in connection with an incident at 11 p.m. Aug. 22.

Perin, who was arrested Sept. 28, was ordered held in the county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or a $50,000 bond.
