A fire at Wynterbrooke Estates Apartments in Hamburg left 13 people displaced Saturday night, but no serious injuries were reported.
The blaze broke out in one of the buildings of the 132-unit apartment complex on Richcrest Drive, forcing residents to evacuate. No one was hurt, although a couple of people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and released, said Hamburg Police Lt. James Koch.
Several fire crews responded, along with representatives of the local chapter of the American Red Cross, who assisted the residents.
Koch said Hamburg fire investigators are still probing the cause, but he said foul play is not suspected.
"I wouldn't call it a total loss," he said. "There's definitely going to be some work on a couple of apartments."
