Now is the time to act, "Marshall" fans.
Local TV and radio stations WNED and WBFO have announced tickets to the Oct. 7 screening of "Marshall" in North Park Theatre (1428 Hertel Ave.) are now available for $15 here. They may also be ordered by phone at 1-800-678-1873.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the screening beginning at 8. A panel discussion with the movie's producers, Chris Bongirne and Jonathan Sanger, will immediately follow the film.
"Marshall," a Hollywood biopic that delves into the early years of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall's career, was filmed at several different locations in Buffalo in 2016.
The News' Toni Ruberto explained WNED's involvement in the movie's filming in an article earlier this week.
"The premiere is a presentation of WNED in association with the Buffalo International Film Festival. 'Marshall' filmed some scenes in the WNED studios and also had its production offices in the building, explained Sylvia Bennett, senior vice president of development and corporate communications at WNED.
'We always asked if they came back to town if we could do a premiere,' Bennett said. 'The film is looking great and we are excited about. We're excited to present something that highlight the beautiful sights and sounds of Buffalo.'"
