Got a question about restaurants? Andrew Galarneau has answers

The local restaurant scene continues to change and grow and Buffalo News Food Editor Andrew Z. Galarneau has been watching and documenting it for more than five years.

Every day brings something new. Take this week in restaurant news from Galarneau for example:

• West Side French specialist Lait Cru Brasserie has started offering sandwiches and salads in the Cobblestone District's Lockhouse Distillery

• German restaurant Scharf's announced it will celebrate its 50th year in business Sept. 30 with a celebration at the West Seneca restaurant

Fresh Catch Poke Co. is planning to open in December at 5933 Main St., the building across from Williamsville South High School that will also contain a Lloyd Taco Factory outpost;

• The Niagara Falls branch of Colosso Taco is opening another outlet in the Town of Niagara, with new offerings like a quesadilla burger and jumbo taco dog.

Galarneau also continues to provide the dining community with a weekly restaurant review, including this week's at Fortuna's in Niagara Falls.

At Fortuna's, family style never went out of style

So if you have any questions about going out to eat around here, he probably has an answer or an opinion about it.

You can see for yourself from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. Post your question as a comment under this post and wait for his answer.
