Two developers plan to construct a mixed-used building of apartments and commercial space on a prominent corner in Williamsville.
CRS Companies and Zaepfel Development Co. would construct a four-story, L-shaped building at Main and South Long streets, on the site of 5353 Main, 8 S. Long and 20 S. Long, said CRS President John E. "Skip" Cerio.
The project would have 5,000 square feet of retail space on the first floor and either 24 or 36 apartment units on the top three floors. A single-level parking deck also is under consideration. The estimated cost is $8 million to $11 million, depending on the scale.
CRS would move its offices into the building. The developers are unveiling preliminary plans at Monday's Planning Board meeting. If the approvals are granted, work could begin in April and be completed in spring 2019.
