TEAMWORK – Flying Bison Brewery, 840 Seneca St. in Larkinville, will be the site of a special All Sports Trivia contest beginning at 6 p.m. Friday. Four-person teams will compete for prizes that include tickets to sporting events, sports memorabilia and beer.

CHURCH NOTES – Observance by local Lutheran churches of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation continues this weekend at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott St., City of Tonawanda. At 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday there will be a screening of the new PBS documentary, “Martin Luther: An Idea That Changed the World.” Cost is $5. Lunch will be available at noon Saturday. St. Michael the Archangel Polish National Catholic Church, 250 27th St., Niagara Falls, will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the parish Saturday. Right Rev.
