Eberl Iron Works consolidates 12 parcels for growth

The owners of Eberl Iron Works are consolidating 12 lots into one around their downtown Buffalo operation, as they need more office space to handle growth at their Sycamore Street plants.

The 94-year-old company sought and received approval from the Buffalo Planning Board to combine the properties under 124 Sycamore, to make it easier to expand. No new building is planned for the site, at the corner of North Pine Street, but the existing two-and-a-half story building at 124 is designated for new office space, according to the company's filing with the city.

The company, owned by John C. and Nora E. Eberl, operates manufacturing facilities at 103 and 128 Sycamore, both of which are growing.
