The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda Board of Education will hold its Oct. 10 meeting at the Philip Sheridan Building, putting off for at least one month its plan to move School Board meetings to Kenmore Middle School.
Moving the School Board meetings to the high tech room at the former middle school has been held up by construction and material delays, according to school spokesman Patrick Fanelli. The board hopes it can hold its Nov. 14 meeting there. The new meeting room at the middle school was retrofitted over the past six months with state-of-the-art equipment.
The district no longer uses the 155 Delaware Road building as a middle school, but holds a universal pre-kindergarten and an alternative high school program there.
The Oct. 10 meeting is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. at the Philip Sheridan Building, 3200 Elmwood Ave.
