There's an AFC East matchup in Week Three, and a big NFC showdown for the Bills' next opponent.
Let's pinpoint a few teams ahead in Buffalo's schedule:
- Week Four: Atlanta Falcons
- Week Five: Cincinnati Bengals
We're also monitoring the Chiefs all year, with Buffalo holding their 2018 first-round pick.
Dolphins at Jets
Jay Cutler and the Dolphins offense looked good against the Chargers in their Week Two victory. Meanwhile, the Jets were thrashed by the high-powered Raiders in Oakland. This game could be tight early but Miami has much more talent on both sides of the football.
Falcons at Lions
Shootout? Yep. Shootout. Matt Stafford has the Lions 2-0 and has been efficient in both of his starts. Matt Ryan and Co. started slowly against the Bears in Week One, yet they trampled the Packers at home last week in primetime. This is an early-season battle for NFC supremacy.
Bengals at Packers
The Bengals, Buffalo's Week Five opponent, will be hard-pressed to not start the year 0-3. They fired their offensive coordinator after the disastrous showing last Thursday and now former Dolphins offensive coordinator Bill Lazor takes over. Andy Dalton needs a big game in the worst way.
Texans at Patriots
Houston won a week ago over Cincinnati. It was ugly though. Deshaun Watson was thrust into the starting lineup and was inept for the duration of the Thursday night stinker. He can scramble, as evidenced by his long touchdown run. The Texans will be lucky to be in this game beyond the first quarter.
Chiefs at Chargers
Kansas City looks like one of the best teams in football through the first two weeks of the season, but you know those pesky Chargers will hang around in this one. Philip Rivers could really use some good fortune from his kicker for a change.
