Buffalo woman with 4 kids in stolen SUV crashes in Olean, charged with DWI

A Buffalo woman was arrested after she failed to pull over for troopers in Olean Friday night and crashed a stolen SUV with four small children, state police said.

At about 8:30 p.m., troopers attempted to pull over a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder for speeding on E. River Road. The driver didn't comply and troopers put on their emergency lights. The Nissan turned onto Steam Valley Road and went into a culvert before rolling over and landing upright.

Inside the vehicle was a passenger,  Keisha C. Weakfall, 26, of Rochester and four children, ages 3 to 5, who were not properly restrained. No injuries were reported.

The driver, Alesaundra M. Allen, 24, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law because of the children in the car, possession of stolen property, unlawful fleeing, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
