The University at Buffalo has launched a new webpage highlighting the move of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
The new site – buffalo.edu/here – is designed to raise regional and national visibility of the new building and provide the public with information on research and patient care, as well as highlight the building's impact on medical education at UB.
The $375 million building is slated to open later this year, with the first classes scheduled to begin in January.
The webpage also reaches out to alumni and friends to raise $200 million in donations by January for the medical school building fund. Naming opportunities for plaques in learning stations and lounges also are offered.
