After talking to former Bill Aaron Williams, “The Tim Graham Show,” continued its safety dance with Jordan Poyer, who acknowledged that his Bills debut on Sunday might have been the best game of his career.
“I can’t say I really have, at this point in my career,” played a better game, Poyer told Graham. “Coming out there, first Bills game, first time playing in that stadium, I wanted to play well. And I went to continue to play well. But it was exciting to be a part of.”
Poyer also talked about why safeties enjoy playing in Sean McDermott’s defense scheme, developing chemistry with fellow safety Micah Hyde, preparing to play against Cam Newton, his baseball background, and how Hurricane Irma impacted his home in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
