It’s Week One of the NFL season. A fresh start. A chance to end droughts.
Then along comes the betting site Bovada to crush a few dreams, by rolling out every team’s odds of winning the Super Bowl this season.
The sports book rated the Bills as having the fifth-worst chance of winning the championship, tied with the Bears at 150-1.
Worse yet, Bovada gave the Patriots the best odds, at 3-1, and praised the team for pulling off “one of the biggest heists of the offseason” by snatching Mike Gillislee from the Bills.
But there’s some good news. Bovada gave the Jets – the Bills’ first opponent – the worst odds of all, at 300-1, tied with the Browns and 49ers.
