It’s great to read little slices of life
There is nothing more satisfying and fun than reading My View with a cup of coffee. The recent article by Doug Routt made a big splash in our family. I sent a copy to all of our grown-up children and received great responses. They remembered the whole deal – wobble, wobble, fall on face, try again. Getting out of the wake one leg at a time, finally skiing slalom even for 14 seconds. We taught all six to ski on our old wood boat. Two became experts; one bought a ski boat.
I relate to so many stories that Western New Yorkers share in this column. I also loved the one about the pug sitter. I appreciate the little slices of life readers contribute to the paper. Takes the sting out of some of the news that is harder to digest.
