Buffalo man, 25, given 3-year sentence in drug case

A Buffalo man who pleaded guilty to selling fentanyl and cocaine to an undercover officer has been sentenced to three years in prison, according to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn on Wednesday.

State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns also ordered two years of supervision for Marcellus Hutcherson, 25, of Weston Avenue, after his release from prison.

Prosecutors said Hutcherson sold fentanyl and cocaine to an undercover narcotics agent on four separate occasions in February.

He pleaded guilty last month to three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, officials said.
