Union rallies targeting 'Trump Walmart agenda' include stop in Buffalo

Buffalo will serve as the first stop in a series of rallies taking at aim what a union calls the "Trump-Walmart agenda."

The United Food and Commercial Workers union will stage the rallies on about 25 college campuses in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast in September and October, said Amy Ritter, communications director for the Making Change at Walmart campaign at UFCW. The first of the rallies will be held at noon on Sept. 5 at the Campbell Student Union at SUNY Buffalo State.

Ritter said the rallies will focus on the impact Trump and Walmart have on education, jobs and health care.
