The westbound ramp off Route 198 to Elmwood Avenue northbound will close at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
The closure is expected to last four weeks and will allow for dredging and the removal of sediment from Scajaquada Creek, according to a DOT spokeswoman.
This work is weather sensitive and will be delayed in the event of inclement weather, the spokeswoman said.
A detour will be posted. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and allow for additional travel time.
