Niagara Falls officials to face public in Wednesday night Q&A

A large panel of Niagara Falls public officials will face their constituents in a question-and-answer session from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Harry F. Abate Elementary School, 1625 Lockport St.

The event, titled "Talking Matters," will be hosted by Niagara County Legislator Owen T. Steed, who said questions can be asked aloud or submitted in writing.

Steed said officials expected to attend include Mayor Paul A. Dyster, Rep. Brian Higgins, State Sen. Robert G. Ortt, Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello, District Attorney Caroline A. Wojtaszek, City Judge Diane L. Vitello, School Superintendent Mark R. Laurrie, County Legislator Dennis F. Virtuoso and Niagara Falls Police Superintendent E. Bryan DalPorto.

Members of the City Council and the Board of Education also were invited, Steed said.
