A Buffalo woman punched two police officers on Bailey Avenue early Thursday morning, according to a city police report.
One of the officers was flagged down at about midnight at Bailey Avenue and Langfield Drive by a woman who said another woman had just thrown a brick through a window on Phyllis Avenue, according to a Buffalo police report.
The woman who flagged down the officer said the assailant, who was wearing a pink dress, was walking south on Bailey. The police report indicates the officer had seen a woman walking on Bailey "behaving strangely."
The officer went back and caught up to the woman. She became "highly agitated" when the officer approached and punched the officer in the face, according to the report.
Another officer was on scene as police tried to subdue her, and she punched a second officer in the eye, the report said.
The woman was taken to Erie County Medical Center for a psychological evaluation. It was not clear from the police report whether she was charged.
