Evans Bank has added to its senior leadership team through hiring two executives, Dale M. McKim III and Kenneth D. Pawlak.
The Hamburg-based bank named McKim executive vice president and chief risk officer. McKim, a CPA, has more than 20 years of banking and financial services experience. As a partner with KPMG, he was the bank's external auditor for more than 10 years.
Pawlak was named executive vice president and chief commercial lending officer. During his 27-year career, Pawlak held various roles at M&T Bank, most recently in its business banking division.
Pawlak filled the vacancy created when John Eagleton left as Evans' chief commercial lending officer to become president of Steuben Trust Co.
David J. Nasca, Evans' president and CEO, said McKim will "add significant experience to our already strong risk practices." Nasca said Pawlak at M&T led a "bank-wide retooling of the credit process to comply with regulatory guidelines."
