Columbus McKinnon CEO buys $1.1 million home in East Amherst

The president and CEO of Columbus McKinnon bought a six-bedroom, 4½-bath home in East Amherst for $1.1 million, according to county real property records.

Mark Morelli and his wife, Laura, purchased the home on Contessa Court, in a subdivision off Youngs Road between Casey and Maple roads, in a sale that closed Aug. 14. The 7,457-square-foot, colonial-style home was built in 2000, according to the listing from Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. The 53-year-old Morelli was named the head of the Amherst-based manufacturing company in late February.

The seller, Nancy A. Tetro, late last summer with her husband, Dr. A. Marc Tetro, purchased a historic home on Windsor Avenue that was built for the daughter and son-in-law of soap manufacturing magnate John D. Larkin.
