GET SMART – Brochures are available, starting today, for Frontier Central School District Community Education fall classes for adults and children. Classes, which include Calligraphy, Discover Your Career DNA, Winning Wine Bottle Cover, Yoga Toolbox for Kids and Zumba Fitness, begin Sept. 25.

The Friends of Harmony

PERFECT PITCH – The Friends of Harmony, who perform in the style of the Buffalo-based barbershop singing quartet that appeared in the film version of “The Music Man,” will give a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Island Park on Williamsville. Lawn chairs are welcome.

UNLOCKING LOCKPORT – Explore Buffalo will head down the Erie Canal to Lockport for a tour Thursday afternoon that will highlight the other features of the city, including its founding by Quakers in the early 19th century, inventors who spurred economic and cultural development, vintage architecture and a stop on the Underground Railroad.

REUNION TIME – The Gathering, a reunion of all men who played any sport in the Monsignor Martin High School Athletic Association during the 1960s, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant, 3785 South Park Ave., Blasdell.
