Brothers from St. Joe's took home gold at the Royal Canadian Henley last weekend in Ontario.
Charlie and Jack Pratt, of Grand Island, won gold while competing with St. Catharine's, their summer rowing team out of Ontario.
Jack is a rising sophomore at St. Joe's. He raced in the U17 Coxed 4 and the U17 8. The St. Catharine's U17 8 won gold over teams from Argonaut Rowing Club in Ontario, Belen Jesuit, TBC Racing in Washington D.C. and West Side Rowing Club in Buffalo. Their winning boat logged a time of 5:50.06 over 2,000 meters.
Charlie will be a freshman at Drexel after graduating from St. Joe's this spring. He was part of the U19 Men's 8 boat that best other top programs in its event with a time of 5:58.79.
