Division: Top ET/Lancaster Dragway

Lowdown: Cleveland is a four-time Lancaster Speedway and Dragway season points champion who got his career started in the non-electronic Super class in 1980. Cleveland stayed in non-electronic classes until 2002 when joined the electronics-based classes. Cleveland has drag raced at different tracks through the years including Empire Dragway in Leicester but has only competed weekly for points at Lancaster. Cleveland averages two to three wins a season. Cleveland currently drives a 1923 Ford Altered. Cleveland's son Keith also races at Lancaster in the Top ET class. Wayne is thankful for his wife Elaine and sons Keith and Kyle Cleveland and Lancaster drag racing officials. Wayne considers Tom's Performance as key to his career success.

Accomplishments: Cleveland has won four Lancaster drag racing class point championships, those in 1981, 1986, 2006 and 2011. Cleveland has four wins at Lancaster this season including two in Top 8 Eliminator, one in Top ET and another at the recent Sunday Nostalgia Drags. Cleveland trails leader Jan Winkowski currently in Lancaster Top ET points, 520-510. Cleveland is a past winner of the One-Eighth Mile Nationals at Empire and the 1999 Race of Champions at Lancaster.

Favorite Music: "I'll listen to a radio station for a week and then flip to another one."

Hobbies: Hunting and being outdoors.
