Weinberg Campus has named Matthew McDougall administrator of its Rosa Coplon Living Center.
McDougall previously worked as administrator at Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center and, before that, at Brompton Heights. He began his career as an occupational therapist in nursing homes, providing treatment to residents and patients.
“Serving as a therapist helped me to develop a strong foundation to understand and appreciate the intricacies within nursing home environments,” McDougall said in a statement.
McDougall holds a master's in health services administration from D'Youville College and a bachelor's in occupational therapy from the Utica College of Syracuse University. Prior to his work in healthcare, he served in the Army and National Guard.
He lives in East Amherst with his wife, Denise, and their four children.
