ALL EARS – St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy will benefit from the all-you-can-eat Great Corn Roast from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Donald Spoth Farm, 2715 Tonawanda Creek Road, between Hopkins Road and Campbell Boulevard, Amherst. SINGING THE BLUES – A former backup vocalist for Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder will be featured as the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities hold their second annual Burgers, Brews and Blues evening Tuesday at St. Mary of the Angels, 201 Reist St., Williamsville. Janice Mitchell, a member of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, will perform with the Jim Beishline Trio from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6. Beers will be provided by 12 Gates Brewing Co. of Amherst. Tickets are $50, with proceeds benefiting the sisters’ ministries. For info, visit sosf.org or call Cindy Munschauer at 632-2155, ext. 687.

THE NEW KIDS – Not all of the notable buildings in Buffalo are a century old. Explore Buffalo has developed a tour, “Postmodern Downtown Architecture,” that will examine the ornamentation and color that distinguish recent arrivals such as Coca-Cola Field, the Buffalo Savings Bank Annex, the Key Center at Fountain Plaza and Erie Community College’s Flickinger Athletic Center.
