Natale Builders ‘The Bordeaux’ was featured during the Horizon Tour of Homes 2017

It’s easy to picture your family in this beautiful East Amherst home…whether the kids are doing their homework in front of the cozy fireplace in the hearth room as dinner is being prepared in the nearby kitchen or you are hosting a dinner party in the open dining room – or simply enjoying the view from the great room.

Set on a one-third acre parcel with a meandering creek and woods separating the lot from a neighbor’s private driveway, this 3,350 square foot custom built home by Natale Builders has everything you need – and then some.

Located in the Avalon Meadows subdivision off Casey Road (near Youngs), 140 Avalon Meadows Lane – recently featured in the Horizons Home Show – offers a partial open floor plan on the main floor. As you walk up the front path and pass the attached two-car garage, the stone and shake shingle exterior, the home’s beautiful landscaping and accent lighting will give you a feeling of “home.”

Enter through the front door into the spacious entry, and the first thing that strikes you is the beautiful engineered hardwood flooring throughout the first floor. Neutral colors accent the home’s woodwork and detailed craftsmanship. Anderson windows are installed throughout, as is a full alarm system and central air conditioning.

Immediately to your right just inside the front entry is a room, complete with attached full bath, which would make the perfect guest suite or den. The formal dining room looks out on the front yard and boasts a bar area with a Jenn Air wine refrigerator.

Should you enter from the garage, you’ll find a mudroom with coat rack and a large walk-in pantry, with plenty of storage.

The great room features a remote-control gas fireplace, large casement windows overlooking the backyard (which is large enough for a pool, deck or patio) and privacy transom windows for added light. Large enough for entertaining, cozy enough to enjoy a quiet evening at home.

The kitchen and dinette area flow right into the hearth room, where you’ll find sliding glass doors that lead to the backyard. The kitchen features all Jenn Air stainless steel appliances – refrigerator, oven with a five-burner range and griddle, dishwasher and microwave – and a nice, deep sink with high faucet. There’s plenty of cupboard and counter space, with a sprawling counter area with stools.

The dinette area overlooks the backyard, with room for a large table. There’s room in the adjacent hearth area for cozy chairs around the fireplace and to mount a flat screen TV over the mantel.

There are two fireplaces in the home. This room is just off the kitchen.

Hardwood stairs separate the great room from the kitchen area, and lead you to a spacious upstairs, with plenty of natural light and deep, plush neutral carpeting throughout. A sitting area overlooks the front entryway, and the convenient laundry area in the hallway is well hidden behind bi-fold doors.

The large full bathroom off the hallway features double sinks and a separate toilet/bathtub area. There’s also a door leading into one of the bedrooms, where you’ll find a walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms can be found upstairs, as well as the master suite.

Large enough for a California king-size bed, with spacious walk-in closet and plenty of natural light, the suite also features a large bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in, two-person oversized shower. The espresso cupboards and porcelain tile floor create a warm, comfortable ambiance.
The fully-studded superior walls of the large basement are ready to be finished. You’ll find plenty of room for storage, and egress windows for light and safety.

Shown by appointment, it is priced at $559,900. For more information, contact Larry LaDuca at 812-2195 or visit
