Two shot overnight on Wyoming Avenue

Two people were shot early Thursday several blocks from Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo police said.

The two victims, identified only as male, were struck shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Wyoming Avenue, just north of East Delavan Avenue, a police spokesman said in an email.

Police provided no information about the victims' injuries or conditions. Both were taken by ambulance to ECMC.

Police ask anyone who may have information about what happened to call or text the department's confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
