SAFETY FIRST – EPIC – Every Person Influences Children will host a free car seat safety program Saturday morning at its national headquarters at 1000 Main St. in downtown Buffalo.
There will be 45-minute car seat safety classes at 9 and 11 a.m.; a car seat safety check, with reinstallation if needed; and special storytelling for children. Unsafe car seats will be replaced. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
Registration is required for the classes. For the car seat checks, parents must bring their children with them and pre-registration is recommended. To sign up, call 332-4127 or visit epicforchildren.org and click on events/workshops.

ROADWORTHY – The Kenan Motor Exhibition will put scores of cars, trucks and motorcycles on display from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Kenan Center, 433 Locust St., Lockport. Vehicle registration is $10. Admission for spectators is free.
A Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue will be available for $10 and those who buy dinners will be entered in a drawing for box seat tickets for a Buffalo Bills game. There also will be food trucks and other vendors, music and an appearance by Lauren Fix, the Car Coach.
The American Red Cross will hold a blood donor drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Kenan Center will host a free opening reception for its new exhibit, “Erie Canal, Spirit of Structure: Platinum/Palladium Images by Dennis Stierer and Tillman Crane” from 2 to 5 p.m. For more information, visit kenancenter.org.

REUNION TIME – The Bishop McMahon High School Class of 1957 will celebrate its 60th anniversary reunion Sept. 16 in Classics V Banquet and Conference, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. The Class of 1967 at Holy Family School will hold its 50th reunion at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 in Lucarelli’s Banquet Center, 1830 Abbott Road, Lackawanna. Cost is $35, which includes dinner and beverages.
